Celebrating excellence: Ruby Ingham named Degree Apprentice of the Year!

We’re incredibly proud to share that Ruby Ingham, Digital Technology Solution Apprentice has been named Degree Apprentice of the Year at last week’s West Yorkshire Apprenticeship Awards!

This prestigious event celebrates the outstanding achievements of apprentices across the region and recognises the vital support of employers, mentors, and training providers who help shape their journeys.

Reflecting on her win, Ruby said:

“I am proud of winning the West Yorkshire Degree Apprentice of the Year. Making it to the finals in two categories was already such a great achievement. The support I receive from my amazing team was evident on the night, and I couldn’t have done this without them, so I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has assisted me throughout my apprenticeship journey. These awards have shown me that hard work truly pays off, and I will remember this night for the rest of my life!”

“Ruby is currently studying for a Digital Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeship and has consistently demonstrated a remarkable drive to develop both personally and professionally during her time with NG Bailey. Her commitment to learning, leadership, and innovation has truly set her apart.

Beyond her studies, Ruby is a passionate advocate for Women in STEM, making a real impact through her work as an Apprentice Ambassador. She continues to be a role model and inspiration to others across the business and the wider industry.
